CORPORATE OVERVIEW	Home health care franchisor. Company launched in January 2008. The owner of Preferred Healthmate, Inc., which currently owns six offices in New Jersey, founded Home Health Mates as a way to expand his philosophy and vision of a home health care agency on a national level.
PRODUCT / SERVICE OVERVIEW	Franchisor provides the following to franchisees: Comprehensive training (at headquarters and franchisee location) and a detailed operations manual, plus initial and ongoing support with establishing, operating, and marketing the business. In addition, franchisee will have access to a specialized software program which will facilitate the daily functions of the office. The software is a system-wide, semi-private label program which provides a fully integrated business solution for the operation. Designed specifically for the home-based health care field, it will help with the management of employees, clients, scheduling, payroll, billing, and other important functions. Franchise fee is $30,000. Initial costs, including three months of operating capital and the franchise fee, can range from $89,900 to $137,400. Franchisees will be required to have a Registered Nurse on staff. Each Home Health Mates location will be certified, licensed, bonded, and insured. Home Health Mates franchisees will provide the following professional services: Complete, compassionate client care Services ranging from pediatric care to senior assistance Around-the-clock skilled nursing services Hourly and 24-hour live-in Home Health Aides Assistance with activities of daily living, such as bathing, personal maintenance, feeding, and dressing Meal preparation, medication reminders, light housekeeping, shopping, and other needed services.
